EYFS Teacher
Location: Boston
Salary: £130 – £180 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term; Full-Time / Part-Time

GSL Education are currently looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS Teacher to work in schools across Boston. This is an exciting opportunity to support children at the start of their educational journey in either Nursery or Reception classes, with flexible roles to suit your availability and teaching goals.

As an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering a broad, balanced, and stimulating early years curriculum that promotes children’s social, physical, emotional, and cognitive development. You will foster a safe and inclusive environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and early learning through play-based and structured activities.

Responsibilities of an EYFS Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging EYFS curriculum lessons in line with national guidance
  • Create a nurturing and stimulating environment where children feel safe and supported
  • Use observation and assessment to track progress and inform next steps
  • Promote positive behaviour and develop children’s communication and social skills
  • Establish strong relationships with children, parents, and staff
  • Support children’s readiness for Key Stage 1 through targeted interventions
  • Maintain accurate records of pupil development and liaise with the wider teaching team
  • Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all pupils at all times
  • Contribute to the wider school community and attend team meetings as required

Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with EYFS experience or Early Years Status.
  • A strong understanding of the EYFS Framework and early childhood pedagogy
  • Experience teaching Nursery and/or Reception pupils at an EYFS setting in a UK school
  • Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
  • A warm, patient, and enthusiastic approach to teaching
  • Have an updated CV and an Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
