Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Pay Rate: £90 to £110 per day (Depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time

About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils’ learning and development. Working closely with class teachers, you will provide both one-on-one and group support, helping students overcome challenges and reach their full potential. You’ll also assist in preparing lesson materials, supporting classroom activities, and tracking student progress.
Key Responsibilities of Teaching Assistant (TA)
- Support Teachers: Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement tailored learning plans that meet individual student needs.
- One-on-One and Group Interventions: Deliver targeted support to students through structured interventions and learning activities.
- Encourage Positive Learning: Promote effective study habits and model positive behaviour to foster a supportive learning environment.
- Classroom Support: Assist in delivering engaging lessons and maintaining a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere.
- Monitor Progress: Keep detailed records of student progress and communicate regularly with staff and parents.
- Liaise with External Agencies: Work with professionals such as SENCOs, counsellors, and social workers to ensure holistic support for students.
Requirements of Teaching Assistant (TA)
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational support role.
- A genuine passion for helping children succeed.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
- Team player with a proactive and flexible approach.
- Relevant qualifications or training in education are desirable.
