Job Title: Early Years Practitioner (Level 2 or 3)

Salary: £86-£100 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
GSL Education are seeking a passionate Early Years Practitioner (Level 2 or 3) to join a nursery setting in Rotherham. This rewarding role is perfect for someone who enjoys supporting young children and helping them develop in a safe and encouraging environment.
As an Early Years Practitioner (EYP), you will play a key role in supporting children’s learning and development. You will work closely with the team to provide stimulating activities that promote growth and confidence in children.
Key Responsibilities of Early Years Practitioner:
- Supporting children in their daily activities and learning experiences.
- Helping to plan and deliver fun, age-appropriate activities.
- Observing children’s progress and sharing information with the team.
- Ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all children.
- Encouraging positive behaviour and social skills.
- Working alongside parents and carers to support children’s needs.
What we are looking for:
- A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare, or Childhood Studies, or an equivalent recognised qualification is mandatory.
- Experience working with young children in a nursery, preschool, or similar setting is desirable.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- A strong understanding of safeguarding and child welfare.
- An Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
