Salary:   £31,650 to £49,084 annually (dependent on experience)

As a PE Teacher, the role involves delivering engaging and accessible lessons tailored to meet individual needs while promoting students’ physical, mental, and emotional well-being through sport and activity. Working collaboratively with a supportive staff team, you will contribute to a holistic, student-centred approach to education. The aim is to create and maintain a positive, stimulating, and safe learning environment where students with SEMH and ASC can thrive and develop essential life skills that prepare them for adulthood and successful integration into the community.

 Requirements:

  • Fully qualified PE Teacher with QTS (mainstream or SEN background welcome)
  • Strong behaviour management skills and a nurturing, resilient approach
  • Understanding of SEMH needs with a willingness to adapt and grow
  • Familiarity with a range of teaching and learning strategies
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare
  • Team player with the ability to reflect, adapt and continually improve practice
