Role Overview:

As a Computer Science Teacher, you will deliver engaging and innovative lessons that spark curiosity and develop essential digital skills. You’ll collaborate with a supportive team of educators to foster a learning environment that encourages creativity, logical thinking, and resilience.

Key Responsibilities of Computer Science Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver inclusive and interactive computer science lessons across a range of abilities.
  • Promote digital literacy and encourage participation in coding clubs, competitions, and tech-based extracurricular activities.
  • Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and tailor teaching strategies to individual learning needs.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety standards in all practical and digital activities.

Essential Qualifications for Computer Science Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A minimum of two years of verifiable references, including your most recent academic role.
  • Proven experience teaching computer science or ICT.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for technology and inspiring students to explore the digital world.
  • Additional certifications in computer science or programming are desirable but not essential.
