A fantastic special educational needs school for in Totton. is looking for SEN Teaching Assistants to join their expert team. The school caters for children and young people with severe learning difficulties and associated challenging behaviours, and offers them bespoke educational programmes and positive behaviour support.

The role would be a combination of supporting small class children and 1:1 work, therefore, being flexible and proactive is key. The roles are demanding and challenging, but very rewarding. You will be required to use a reflective approach to learners, their learning and needs and be able to work creatively and proactively. Emotional resilience and an ability to engage learners is a must. Experience of working with children who demonstrate challenging behaviour is also desirable.

  • Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
