SEN Teaching Assistant (Performing Arts Background)
Location: Tonbridge
Salary: £83.33 – £89 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate

As a SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA), your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting children with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH, through creative and structured activities.
- Using performing arts techniques to aid communication, emotional regulation, and confidence-building.
- Assisting with personalised learning plans and behaviour strategies tailored to individual needs.
- Creating a calm, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages self-expression.
- Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and SENCOs to deliver a well-rounded support system.
To be considered for the SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) role, you will:
- Have a background in Performing Arts (e.g., drama, dance, music) or a related creative field.
- Be passionate about supporting children with additional and complex needs.
- Bring creativity, empathy, and a calm, encouraging approach to every day.
- Be adaptable and able to follow guidance while using your initiative.
- Hold (or be willing to obtain) an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service.
