Job Title: Primary Teacher
Location: Braintree
Salary: £130 - £260 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Part-time

GSL Education are delighted to be recruiting for a passionate Primary Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Braintree. This part-time role is perfect for a committed educator who enjoys working with children aged 5 to 11, helping them learn, grow, and succeed in a supportive environment. You will play a key role in creating a positive classroom atmosphere where every child feels valued and encouraged.

Responsibilities of Primary Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver creative and effective lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
  • Support students’ academic, personal, and social development.
  • Use a range of teaching strategies to promote a positive and inclusive classroom.
  • Assess student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents.
  • Work closely with teaching assistants and other staff to support children with additional needs.

Primary Teacher Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Experience teaching in a UK primary school setting is desirable.
  • Confident in teaching across Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

  • An Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
