Job Title: Primary Teacher

Salary: £130-£260 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Part-time

GSL Education are seeking a committed Primary Teacher to work within a welcoming and supportive primary school in Colchester. We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic teacher who enjoys working with children aged 4 to 11 and can inspire them to achieve their best. You will create a safe and positive classroom environment where every child feels valued and motivated to learn.
Primary Teacher Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver learning activities for all core and foundation subjects.
- Meet the individual needs of students by using different teaching methods.
- Monitor students’ progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents.
- Support students’ social and emotional development alongside academic growth.
- Ensure all safeguarding policies and procedures are followed to keep children safe.
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
- Previous teaching experience in primary schools is preferred.
- Good knowledge of the curriculum and assessment procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
- Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service or willingness to apply via GSL Education.
