Primary Teacher
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £150 - £230 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term; Full-Time / Part-Time

GSL Education are currently recruiting for a dynamic Primary Teacher to work across welcoming and inclusive primary schools in Sheffield. This is an exciting opportunity for a Primary School Teacher to contribute to high-quality education across KS1 or KS2 depending on your experience and preference. The ideal candidate will be a creative and resilient educator who can effectively manage a classroom and deliver engaging lessons tailored to diverse learning needs.

Primary Teacher Responsibilities:

  • Deliver the primary curriculum in a creative, engaging, and effective manner
  • Differentiate instruction to support the needs of all learners
  • Foster a nurturing classroom environment that promotes learning and development
  • Monitor, assess, and record pupils’ progress and attainment
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and SLT
  • Establish strong relationships with pupils, parents, and the wider school community

What we need from a Primary School Teacher :

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential
  • Proven experience teaching in UK primary schools (KS1, or KS2)
  • Strong classroom management and behavioural strategies
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the primary national curriculum
  • A flexible, adaptable approach with a positive attitude
  • Have an updated CV and an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
