Primary School Teacher
Location: Rotherham
Salary: £150 - £230 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term; Full-Time / Part-Time

About the Primary Teacher Role:
You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to meet the needs of your class. Whether working on a day-to-day basis or in a longer-term position, you will be expected to uphold high standards of teaching, learning and behaviour management, while contributing positively to the wider school community.
As a Primary School Teacher, your responsibilities will be:
- Deliver high-quality lessons in line with the primary national curriculum
- Promote a stimulating learning environment where pupils feel motivated and safe
- Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate individual learning styles and abilities
- Effectively manage classroom behaviour and uphold school expectations
- Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback
- Collaborate with other staff, parents, and leadership teams to support pupil outcomes
- Participate in staff meetings, training and school development initiatives
Primary Teacher Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification is essential
- Recent experience teaching in a UK primary school (KS1 or KS2)
- Strong behaviour management and interpersonal skills
- A good understanding of the primary national curriculum and assessment standards
- Have an updated CV and an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
