As a Day-to-Day Qualified Cover Teacher, you’ll step into various classrooms, delivering engaging lessons and ensuring continuity of learning in the absence of regular teachers. Whether you're an experienced educator or an ECT looking to gain valuable experience, this role offers flexibility, variety, and the chance to inspire students every day.
Responsibilities of Qualified Teacher:
- Deliver Pre-Planned Lessons: Teach across a range of subjects using provided lesson plans.
- Maintain Classroom Order: Foster a positive and respectful learning environment.
- Support Student Progress: Keep students engaged and on track with their learning.
- Provide Feedback: Mark work and report on student progress where required.
- Collaborate with Staff: Communicate effectively with school staff and leadership.
Requirements for a Qualified Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Strong Behaviour Management: Confident in managing diverse classroom dynamics.
- Excellent Communication: Clear and professional in both verbal and written communication.
- Flexibility: Comfortable teaching across different subjects and year groups.
- Commitment to Safeguarding: Uphold the highest standards of child protection.
- Enhanced DBS Certificate: Registered on the Update Service or willing to apply through GSL Education.
