Pay: £100 - £110 per day (depending on experience)

About the Role
As a Cover Supervisor (CS), you will be responsible for delivering pre-set lessons in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. You’ll ensure students remain on task and engaged, maintaining a positive and productive learning environment. This is an ideal role for individuals considering a future in teaching or education.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers.
- Ensure students complete the work set by the teacher.
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
- Provide feedback to the regular class teacher on student progress and behaviour.
- Support students in understanding the tasks and encourage a positive learning atmosphere.
- Uphold the school’s values and promote a safe and inclusive environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a school or educational setting is desirable.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive and flexible approach to work.
- A genuine interest in education and supporting young people.

- The right to work in the UK.
- An up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
- An enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
