Religious Education Specialist
Location: Medway
Salary: £120 – £250 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Full-time, Temporary (with potential to extend into the next academic year)

GSL Education Kent are currently recruiting for a committed and knowledgeable Religious Education Specialist to join a vibrant secondary school in Medway. This exciting opportunity is available immediately and will continue until 16th July 2025, with the possibility of extension into the 2025–2026 academic year for the right candidate.

As an RE Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering engaging and thought-provoking Religious Education lessons, primarily to KS3 students.
- Using pre-prepared planning materials to deliver lessons and ensure student understanding.
- Marking student work and providing constructive feedback to support progress.
- Contributing to the wider ethos of the school through positive relationships and behaviour management.
- Inspiring students to explore ethical and philosophical questions through a broad and inclusive curriculum.
To be considered for the Religious Education Teacher role, you must:
- Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or an equivalent overseas teaching qualification.
- Have experience teaching Religious Education at the secondary level.
- Be available 5 days per week and ready to start immediately.
- Demonstrate strong classroom management and excellent communication skills.
- Hold an Enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
