re you someone who’s caring, reliable, and passionate about helping children succeed? GSL Education is currently recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to support a primary-aged child with Special Educational Needs (SEN) on a 1:1 basis at a warm and welcoming school in Chigwell.
This is a full-time, long-term role starting from September, perfect for someone who wants to make a meaningful difference while working in a supportive and rewarding environment.
What You'll Be Doing:

Providing dedicated 1:1 support to a child with SEN (such as Autism, ADHD, or communication needs)

Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver targeted support

Helping the pupil access the curriculum, build confidence, and develop independence

Using a kind, patient and proactive approach to encourage engagement and progress

Creating a positive, inclusive environment where the pupil feels supported and valued
What We're Looking For:

Previous experience supporting children with SEN in a school or childcare setting

A calm, encouraging and flexible approach

Great communication skills and a strong sense of empathy

A commitment to helping every child reach their full potential

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
