Job Title: KS1 Teacher
Location: Skegness
Salary: £130-£180 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
GSL Education are currently recruiting for a Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teacher to work in a vibrant primary school in Skegness. The school is looking for a creative and confident teacher who can inspire students in Year 1 (ages 5–6) and Year 2 (ages 6–7) to enjoy learning and reach their full potential. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with younger children and can provide a strong start to their education.
KS1 Teacher Responsibilities:
- Deliver well-planned lessons that meet the needs of KS1 students and follow the curriculum.
- Support the development of early literacy through fun and engaging activities.
- Encourage children to become independent, confident, and curious learners.
- Track progress and use assessment results to help children improve.
- Foster a caring and inclusive classroom where all children feel safe and supported.
Candidate Requirements:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Previous experience teaching within Key Stage 1 is preferred.
- Strong understanding of phonics, early years assessments, and classroom routines.
- Able to adapt lessons to meet the needs of individual students.
- Hold a current Enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or be willing to apply through GSL Education.
