EYFS Teacher
Location: Grantham
Pay: £130 – £180 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term; Full-Time / Part-Time
Are you a passionate EYFS Teacher with the ability to set clear boundaries and promote outstanding behaviour in the early years classroom?
GSL Education are currently seeking an experienced and confident EYFS Teacher to work across schools in Grantham. This role is ideal for someone who is nurturing, enthusiastic, and committed to strong classroom behaviour management from the earliest stage of education.
As an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher, you will play a vital role in laying the foundations for a child's educational journey. You'll deliver engaging and creative lessons, while also ensuring that behaviour expectations are consistently met and the learning environment remains calm and focused.
Responsibilities of an EYFS Teacher:
- Plan and deliver lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum
- Establish and maintain high standards of behaviour through positive reinforcement and clear boundaries
- Foster an inclusive and stimulating environment that supports the development of communication, social, and motor skills
- Monitor pupil progress and maintain accurate records
- Work collaboratively with support staff, parents, and senior leaders
- Ensure all activities contribute to a safe, caring, and nurturing classroom
- Encourage curiosity, creativity, and independence in young learners
EYFS Teacher Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Recent experience teaching in an EYFS setting
- Proven ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively
- A caring, patient, and adaptable approach to early years education
- Strong communication and classroom leadership skills
- Enhanced DBS registered on the update service or willingness to obtain one
