Primary Teacher
Location: Grantham
Salary: £130 – £180 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term; Full-Time / Part-Time

Are you an enthusiastic Primary Teacher with a proven ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively?

GSL Education are seeking a passionate and committed Primary Teacher to work in welcoming and well-resourced primary schools in Grantham. This role is ideal for experienced teachers or confident ECTs who excel at setting clear expectations and promoting a calm and focused learning environment.

As a Primary Teacher, you will be delivering engaging and structured lessons across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Strong behaviour management is essential to ensure that pupils are focused, respectful, and ready to learn. You will play a crucial role in supporting academic progress while fostering a positive classroom culture.

Your Responsibilities as a Primary School Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a safe and orderly classroom
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing feedback and adapting instruction as needed
  • Work collaboratively with support staff and fellow teachers
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and carers
  • Create an inclusive and nurturing classroom environment where every child can thrive

Primary Teacher Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
  • Recent experience teaching in a UK primary school
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Commitment to high standards in teaching and learning
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one
