Primary Teacher
Location: Gainsborough
Salary: £130 – £180 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long-Term; Full-Time / Part-Time

About the Role:

This role involves teaching across different year groups of KS1 or KS2, depending on your expertise and school requirements. Strong classroom presence and the ability to manage behaviour confidently are essential to support positive learning outcomes. You will deliver engaging lessons, follow school policies, and contribute to a respectful, well-structured classroom culture.

As a Primary Teacher, your responsibilities will be:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that inspire and engage pupils
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a focused learning environment
  • Adapt teaching to meet the needs of pupils with differing abilities
  • Mark and assess student work in line with school policies
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent teaching and support
  • Maintain high expectations for all pupils, encouraging them to achieve their full potential
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Primary Teacher Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Recent experience teaching within a UK primary school setting
  • Proven ability to implement strong behaviour management strategies
  • A professional, enthusiastic, and flexible approach to teaching
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Right to work in the UK and hold an enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply for one)
