Location: Rotherham
Rate: £150 to £230 per day (Depending on experience)
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

About the Role:

As a KS1 Teacher, you’ll play a vital role in guiding young learners through their early educational journey. You’ll work alongside a team of enthusiastic professionals to deliver engaging lessons that support both academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities of Key Stage 1 Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued
  • Provide tailored support through one-on-one and small group instruction
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed
  • Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure holistic student development
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with stakeholders

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Open to ECTs and trainee teachers
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A nurturing, patient, and empathetic approach to teaching
  • A commitment to inclusive education and student well-being
  • Additional educational qualifications or training (desirable but not essential)

Requirements:

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Updated CV with two recent references (within the last 2 years)
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply through GSL Education)
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection
