Job Title: Nursery Practitioner
Location: Eastbourne
Salary: £90 - £110 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Long-term, Full-time
GSL Education are currently recruiting for a nurturing and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join a welcoming early years setting in Eastbourne. This full-time role offers an immediate start and a chance to support children during their most formative years.
The role of a Nursery Practitioner provides a rewarding opportunity to help young children thrive in a safe, caring, and engaging environment. We’re looking for someone who brings warmth, patience, and a strong understanding of early childhood development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support children’s learning and development through play-based and structured activities
• Assist with planning and delivering the EYFS curriculum
• Promote positive behaviour, wellbeing, and social development
• Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and communicate effectively with parents and carers
• Support children with feeding, toileting, and other personal care needs as required
Candidate Requirements:
• A relevant childcare qualification (Level 2 or above is preferred)
• Experience in an early years or nursery setting
• A caring, reliable, and proactive approach
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply through GSL Education
