Job Advert: Behaviour Mentor – Haringey (Full-Time)
Location: Haringey, London
Start Date: September 2025 (Opportunity to start earlier before summer holidays)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Salary: Dependent on experience
Are you a confident, resilient, and experienced Behaviour Mentor ready to make a real impact in the lives of young people?
We are seeking a passionate and proactive Behaviour Mentor to join a supportive and inclusive school in Haringey. This is a full-time position starting in September, with the option to begin sooner before the summer holidays for the right candidate.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience working as a Behaviour Mentor or in a similar role supporting young people with behavioural, emotional, or social difficulties.
- A valid Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service – this is essential.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A calm, empathetic, and consistent approach to managing behaviour.
- Ability to build positive, trusting relationships with students and staff.
The Role:
- Supporting students across the school who may display challenging behaviour.
- Working closely with teaching staff, SEN teams, and pastoral leads.
- Delivering tailored interventions to promote emotional regulation and positive behaviour.
- Acting as a positive role model and mentor to students.
