Full-Time EYFS Teacher – Primary School in Bournemouth, Dorset

GSL Education are delighted to present a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and nurturing Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Bournemouth, Dorset. This full-time role is set to begin in September 2025, with the potential for a permanent or fixed-term contract following a successful probation period. The school warmly welcomes applications from both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced educators.

Annual salary for this position ranges from £30,000 to £44,000, depending on experience.

Responsibilities of an EYFS Teacher:

  • Deliver creative and engaging lessons that support the early development of children in line with the EYFS framework.
  • Foster a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing tailored support and feedback.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support each child’s learning journey.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including events and enrichment activities.
  • Stay up to date with best practices in early years education and child development.

Required Qualifications for an EYFS Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A genuine passion for early years education and child development.
  • Experience teaching in EYFS or a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum (ECTs are encouraged to apply).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • An up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years with no unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
