HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) – Make a Real Difference!
Location: Witham
Start Date: September 2025 or ASAP
Contract Type: Full-Time | Term-Time | Long-Term or Permanent
Salary: £90 - £130 per day
Are you an experienced and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking for a rewarding new opportunity? GSL Education is working with welcoming and well-resourced schools across Witham and surrounding areas, and we are currently recruiting a HLTA to support teaching and learning across Key Stages.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting student progress, covering lessons when needed, and working alongside teachers to deliver high-quality education.
✅ Key Responsibilities:
- Lead small group and whole-class learning sessions
- Support the planning and delivery of lessons across various subjects
- Work with individual students, including those with additional needs
- Cover teacher absences where required
- Help create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
What We're Looking For:
- HLTA status or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of the curriculum (KS1, KS2, or KS3/KS4 depending on school phase)
- Confidence in delivering lessons and managing a classroom
- A nurturing, flexible, and proactive approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
