Teacher of Maths
Location: York, North Yorkshire
Start Date: 19th of June 2025 / As soon as possible
Contract: Fixed Term, Part Time, 0.6
Salary: MPS/UPS
GSL Education is working in partnership with an Ofsted graded ‘Outstanding’ Secondary School, to appoint a part time Maths Teacher to work 3 days a week, for the remainder of this academic year. Early Career Teachers are welcome to apply.

Teacher of Maths Minimum Requirements:
- Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant Maths or related Degree.
- Recent experience planning and delivering Key Stage 3 and GCSE Maths.
- Experience with Pearson Edexcel exam board is ideal, but not essential.
- The legal Right to Work in the UK.
- An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check registered to the update service, or the willingness to apply for one.
- Strong references that cover the last 2 years of employment, particularly from previous teaching placements, academic tutors, or employers.
