Business and Economics Teacher
Location: Tower Hamlets
Salary: £185 - £285 per day
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Long Term / Permanent

GSL Education London Branch is currently seeking an experienced Business and Economics Teacher to join a successful co-educational comprehensive secondary school in Tower Hamlets. If you’re an enthusiastic educator with a strong track record of teaching Business and Economics at secondary level, this is a fantastic opportunity to bring your expertise to a dynamic and forward-thinking school community.

We are searching for a passionate Business and Economics Teacher who can confidently deliver inspiring and engaging lessons across Key Stages 4 and 5. This is a long-term or permanent opportunity for a skilled Business and Economics Teacher who is ready to hit the ground running from September 2025.

Responsibilities of the Business and Economics Teacher:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons in Business Studies and Economics at KS4 and KS5

  • Plan and prepare engaging schemes of work tailored to student needs

  • Track and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback

  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment

  • Contribute to departmental planning, resources, and wider school initiatives

  • Support students in achieving their academic potential and career aspirations

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and senior leaders

Requirements for the Business and Economics Teacher:

  • Must be an experienced Business and Economics Teacher with recent UK secondary school teaching experience

  • Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification

  • Strong subject knowledge in Business Studies and Economics

  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

  • Proven ability to raise achievement and deliver outstanding results

  • Commitment to continuous professional development and educational excellence

  • Available to start in September 2025
