PE Teacher role:

  • Plan and deliver a broad range of PE lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Promote physical health, fitness, and well-being among students
  • Show a strong commitment to working in an SEN setting
  • Be approachable, adaptable, and enthusiastic about physical education
  • Support pupils in developing motor skills, confidence, and cooperation
  • Encourage positive behaviour and inclusion through team sports and individual challenges
  • Organise sporting events and extra-curricular activities

Contract details for the PE Teacher role:

  • Position: PE Teacher
  • Location:Basingstoke
  • Salary Scale: £31,650 to £49,084 annually
  • Start Date: ASAP

Requirements for the PE Teacher role:

  • Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Background in Physical Education or related discipline
  • Proven ability to plan and lead engaging physical activities for a diverse range of students
  • Passionate about inclusive PE, particularly in a SEN environment
  • Demonstrates strong communication and behaviour management skills
  • Flexible, proactive, and dedicated to student progress and well-being
  • Must provide a verifiable work history

  • Have the right to work in the UK.
  • Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
  • Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
