Job Title: Primary Teaching Assistant
Location: Hailsham
Salary: £90-£100 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
GSL Education are looking for a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a vibrant school in Hailsham. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys helping children and wants to support their learning in a positive way.
As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will help create a calm and happy classroom. You will support the teacher with lessons and activities and help children learn and grow each day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support classroom learning by working closely with the teacher and students.
- Help with reading, writing, and other daily tasks.
- Encourage children to take part and enjoy learning.
- Support children who may need extra help.
- Promote good behaviour and help maintain a safe and welcoming environment.
Requirements:
- Experience working as a Primary Teaching Assistant is preferred.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Understanding of the importance of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Must have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one through us.
