Salary: £90-£100 per day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are looking for a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a vibrant school in Hailsham. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys helping children and wants to support their learning in a positive way.

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will help create a calm and happy classroom. You will support the teacher with lessons and activities and help children learn and grow each day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support classroom learning by working closely with the teacher and students.
  • Help with reading, writing, and other daily tasks.
  • Encourage children to take part and enjoy learning.
  • Support children who may need extra help.
  • Promote good behaviour and help maintain a safe and welcoming environment.

Requirements:

  • Experience working as a Primary Teaching Assistant is preferred.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Understanding of the importance of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Reliable and punctual, with a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Must have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one through us.
