GSL Education is currently recruiting caring, flexible, and enthusiastic Nursery Nurses to join our trusted network of supply staff, working across a variety of fantastic nursery settings in Essex.
Whether you're looking for part-time hours, full-time flexibility, or something in-between – supply work gives you the freedom to choose when and where you work, while gaining experience in a range of supportive early years environments.
Your Role Will Include:

Supporting babies and young children with daily routines, play, and learning
-
Creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for all children
-
Encouraging development through fun, age-appropriate activities
-
Working closely with nursery teams to ensure each child’s needs are met
-
Promoting positive behaviour, inclusion, and early learning goals
-
Following all safeguarding and health & safety procedures
-
Providing ad-hoc or regular cover, depending on your availability
✅ We’re Looking For:
-
A Level 2 or 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)
-
Recent experience working in a nursery or childcare setting
-
A warm, friendly, and flexible attitude
-
Confidence working with children aged 0–5 years
-
A valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply
-
Strong communication and teamwork skills
