Teaching Assistant
Location: Barnsley
Salary: Up to £110 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediately
Contract Type: Day-to-Day / Long Term, Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to work in school across the Barnsley area. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are committed to making a positive impact in education.
Your Role as a Teaching Assistant (TA):
- Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons and classroom activities.
- Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils.
- Assist with behaviour management and encourage positive pupil engagement.
- Help prepare learning materials and maintain a well-organised classroom.
- Support pupils with diverse learning needs to fully participate in lessons.
- Monitor and report on pupil progress and well-being.
- Foster strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
Requirements of Teaching Assistant (TA):
- CACHE Level 2/3 or NVQ Level 2/3 in Teaching Assistant or Childcare.
- A degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field is desirable.
- Previous experience in a school or educational setting is essential.
- Ability to support children with a range of learning needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
