SEMH Teacher – Specialist SEN School (Havant)
Salary: £31,650 – £49,084 per annum
Start Date: ASAP or September 2025

Your Role as an SEMH Teacher
- Deliver a broad, balanced curriculum tailored to meet diverse individual needs
- Support students with SEMH challenges, fostering personal growth and positive behaviour
- Use strong behaviour management and structured lesson delivery to engage students
- Write and review EHCPs (Education Health Care Plans), ensuring targeted, effective provision
- Differentiate and adapt for additional needs, including ADHD, Autism Spectrum Conditions, and Dyslexia
- Model and embed a trauma-informed, therapeutic teaching style in all interactions
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Confident in planning and delivering engaging, structured lessons
- Experienced or open to working with vulnerable or high-needs learners
- Calm, adaptable, and resilient under pressure
- Passionate about therapeutic and inclusive education
- A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
- Willingness to teach across different subjects or year groups as required
