Position: Year 1 Class Teacher
Location: Rayleigh
Salary: £125 - £240 per day (£24,375 - £46,800), depending on experience and qualifications!
Contract Type: Full-time (part-time options available)
Start Date: September 2025 (or earlier if available)
Key Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Delivery: As a Year 1 Class Teacher, plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons that align with the KS1 curriculum and promote a love of learning.
- Inclusive Practice: Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners, ensuring every child is supported and challenged.
- Positive Learning Environment: As a Year 1 Class Teacher, create a classroom culture that is safe, inclusive, and conducive to learning.
- Assessment and Feedback: Use a variety of assessment tools to monitor progress and inform teaching strategies.
- Team Collaboration: As a Year 1 Class Teacher, work closely with colleagues to plan lessons, share resources, and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
- Parental Engagement: Maintain open and effective communication with parents and carers to support student development.
Ideal Candidate Requirements:
- To hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has experience teaching in Key Stage 1
- Has a strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and assessment methods
- Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Brings creativity, enthusiasm, and a reflective approach to teaching
- Works well as part of a team and contributes positively to school life
