Salary: £130–£180 per day (Depending on experience)

Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher eager to make a lasting impact on the lives of primary-aged pupils?

GSL Education are currently seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and forward-thinking school in Grantham. This role is available for an immediate start on a supply basis, with the potential for a long-term position.

About the Role:

As a Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive lessons that support the academic and personal development of pupils across Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2. You will play a vital role in fostering a positive learning environment and helping every child achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities of Primary Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Promote a culture of high expectations, curiosity, and resilience.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to support pupil development.
  • Contribute to the wider school community and uphold school policies.

Requirements of Primary Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in primary education.
  • Proven experience teaching in a UK primary school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and assessment methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective classroom management and behaviour strategies.
  • Adaptability, creativity, and a commitment to inclusive education.
  • A current CV covering the last 10 years (with any gaps explained) and an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
