A welcoming school in Spalding is seeking an enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join their team and help pupils thrive academically and personally.

About the Role:

As a Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons across the primary curriculum. You’ll work collaboratively with experienced educators and support staff to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment. Your role will be instrumental in nurturing pupils’ development and love for learning.

Key Responsibilities of the Primary Teacher:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the National Curriculum, ensuring all pupils make strong progress.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment where every child feels supported and encouraged.
  • Use differentiated teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of learners.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching accordingly.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience.
  • Build strong relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed of their child’s progress.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management, promoting respect and responsibility.

Primary Teacher Requirements:

  • A relevant degree in Primary Education or a related field, with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • A genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to pupil development.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a dynamic learning environment.
  • Proficiency in using assessment data to inform planning and improve outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • An up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years with no unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
