Empower Young Learners – KS2 Teacher Required in Skegness!

Salary: £130-£180 per day (Depending on experience)
Start: ASAP start
Contract: Day-to-Day/Long-Term, Full-time/Part-time

GSL Education are delighted to offer a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and knowledgeable KS2 Teacher to join a welcoming and forward-thinking primary school in Skegness. This is an amazing teaching position starting as soon as possible and would suit both experienced teachers and confident Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

About the Role:

As a KS2 Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a high-quality, broad curriculum that prepares pupils for their transition to secondary education. You will be responsible for planning engaging lessons, supporting academic development, and encouraging independence and resilience among your pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver well-structured and interactive lessons that align with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the varying needs of all learners.
  • Promote positive behaviour and foster a respectful and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
  • Track pupil progress through effective assessment and provide constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents to enhance pupil outcomes.
  • Commit to safeguarding the welfare of all students and maintaining high standards of conduct.

Job Requirements:

  • Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, with a strong understanding of curriculum requirements.
  • Confident in teaching core subjects of the Primary curriculum.
  • Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively and support pupils’ individual development.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to working as part of a team.
  • Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
