Salary: £130-£180 per day (Depending on experience)
Start: ASAP start
Contract: Day-to-Day/Long-Term, Full-time/Part-time

This is a rewarding position, commencing as soon as possible, ideally suited to teachers with a strong background in Early Years education.

About the Role / Role Overview:

As an EYFS Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum in a creative, inclusive, and child-centred manner. You will play a crucial role in laying the foundations for lifelong learning by supporting the development of essential communication, social, and motor skills in a nurturing and stimulating environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver purposeful and developmentally appropriate lessons in line with EYFS learning goals.
  • Create a welcoming and safe learning environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and creativity.
  • Use observation and assessment to monitor each child’s progress and tailor learning to individual needs.
  • Promote positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing, and independence in young learners.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, parents, and other staff to support children’s learning and development.
  • Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding, care, and professional conduct.

Job Requirements:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism or experience in Early Years education.
  • Proven experience delivering the EYFS framework within a school or nursery setting.
  • Thorough understanding of child development and the principles of effective early learning.
  • Warm, enthusiastic, and patient approach to engaging with young children.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with parents and staff teams.
  • Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
