Job Title: Primary Teacher
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £150 - £230 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Part-time/Full-time
GSL Education are looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working Primary Teacher to work in a primary School in Sheffield. We are searching for someone who enjoys teaching young children and wants to help them do their best. You will be part of a supportive team that cares about both student and staff. This is a great opportunity to make a real difference in the classroom every day.
Key Responsibilities of Primary Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and differentiated lessons in line with the curriculum, ensuring all students make progress.
- Support the academic, emotional, and social development of each child within a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Monitor and assess students’ progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and using data to inform future planning.
- Follow school policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of all students. Be alert to signs of concern and report appropriately.
- Establish positive relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed about their child's progress and encouraging their involvement in school life.
What we are looking for:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent UK teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching in a primary school is desirable.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Good at managing a class and keeping children focused.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
