German MFL Teacher
Location: Tadcaster, North Yorkshire
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: MPS/UPS; £31,650 - £49,084 per annum
GSL Education are looking to hire qualified and enthusiastic Teacher of German, with the ability to also teach French to work at a thriving Secondary School in Tadcaster, North Yorkshire starting in September 2025.
As a Teacher of German, your responsibilities will include:
- Deliver engaging and effective German (and French) lessons to secondary students.
- Focus on developing students' listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in German (and French).
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves in the target language.
Teacher of German Requirements:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in German or a relevant subject.
- Ability to teach German to at least GCSE level and teach French to at least KS3.
- Experience working with children who have additional needs.
- Build and maintain appropriate relationships with staff, students, and outside agencies.
- Have a Child Only DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
