Salary: £130-180 per day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are currently seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable Primary Supply Teacher to work across vibrant and welcoming primary schools in Gainsborough. This is an ideal role for experienced educators or confident Early Career Teachers looking to expand their classroom experience in a supportive environment.
About the Role / Role Overview
As a Primary Supply Teacher, you will be covering classes across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2 as required, ensuring continuity of learning in the absence of permanent teachers. You will be expected to maintain high standards of teaching, behaviour management, and safeguarding, adapting quickly to varying classroom environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across the primary curriculum engagingly and inclusively.
- Uphold school policies and maintain a positive, safe learning environment.
- Manage classroom behaviour confidently and promote high expectations.
- Provide support and encouragement to pupils of varying abilities and needs.
- Communicate effectively with staff, pupils, and occasionally parents.
- Mark work where appropriate and provide feedback as requested.
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK is essential.
- Recent experience teaching within a UK primary school, ideally across multiple Key Stages.
- A thorough knowledge of the Primary Curriculum.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Ability to adapt to different school settings and teaching styles.
- A genuine passion for primary education and supporting pupil development.
- Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
