GSL Education is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking primary school in Chelmsford. This long-term role begins in September and offers the opportunity to teach a vibrant KS2 class in an inclusive and well-resourced learning environment.

This role is ideal for a passionate educator who enjoys encouraging independent thinking, delivering engaging lessons, and making a lasting impact on young learners’ development.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver creative and differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum for Key Stage 2

  • Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback to support continued learning

  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community

  • Create a supportive and stimulating learning environment for all pupils

  • Participate in staff meetings, planning, and CPD opportunities as required


Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Recent experience teaching in Key Stage 2

  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks

  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

  • A positive, proactive, and reflective approach to teaching

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
