Job Title: Primary Teaching Assistant (TA)
Location: Rotherham
Salary: £86 - £100 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
GSL Education are looking for a passionate and reliable Primary Teaching Assistant to work in a Primary School in Rotherham. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy helping children learn and grow in a school setting.
As a Primary TA, you will support teachers in the classroom and help students with their learning. This could be working one-to-one with a child, in small groups, or helping the whole class. The school is welcoming and provides good support for both staff and students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with their learning in class.
- Help set up classroom activities and keep it organised.
- Work with pupils who may need extra help or have special needs.
- Encourage good behaviour and a positive attitude to learning.
- Work closely with teachers and other staff for helping in class and school activities.
Requirements:
- Experience working in a primary school is preferred.
- Must have a patient, kind and positive attitude.
- Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
