Secondary Teacher – Doncaster
Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire
Salary: £140 – £190 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Easter Term 2025
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-time

Are you a passionate and committed Secondary Teacher looking to make a meaningful impact in the classroom? GSL Education is currently recruiting skilled and enthusiastic Secondary Teachers to work in schools across Doncaster from Easter Term 2025.
This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to support students’ academic development and wellbeing in a vibrant and supportive school environment.
About the Role:
As a Secondary Teacher, you will deliver high-quality lessons within your subject specialism, adapt your teaching to suit a range of learners, and contribute to a positive, engaging classroom experience. You will work collaboratively with staff to raise achievement and foster a love of learning.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.

Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students.

Monitor, assess, and report on student progress.

Maintain a well-managed, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment.

Support students’ academic and personal growth.
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

Experience teaching at secondary level; GCSE experience is preferred.

A subject specialism in your chosen field (e.g. English, Science, Maths, Humanities, etc.).

Excellent behaviour management and communication skills.

An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

A 10-year career history with references covering the last two years, including your most recent role.
