Primary Teaching Assistant – Worksop
Location: Worksop, Nottinghamshire
Salary: £85 – £100 per day

Are you passionate about supporting children in their early years of education? GSL Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic and caring Primary Teaching Assistants to work in a range of welcoming primary schools across Worksop. This is a rewarding opportunity to support the academic and emotional development of pupils in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one or small group support to help pupils remain focused and achieve their learning goals.

Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging, creative, and differentiated lessons.

Support pupils with special educational needs (SEN), behavioural needs, or additional learning requirements.

Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment.

Promote pupil independence, confidence, and participation in all aspects of school life.

Supervise children during breaktimes, lunchtimes, and other school activities.
Requirements:

Experience working with primary-aged children (in schools, nurseries, tutoring, or childcare).

A good understanding of SEN, Autism, ADHD, and behaviour management techniques is desirable.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A patient, flexible, and proactive approach to supporting learning.

Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently.

An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
