Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Brighton
Salary: £90 - £100 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time, Long-term

GSL Education are seeking SEN Teaching Assistants to support a fantastic Special Needs School in Brighton. Whether you’ve worked in education before or come from a care background, your skills could be just what our schools need.
About the Role:
You’ll be working in a classroom supporting students with a range of additional needs. This might include communication difficulties, learning challenges, or emotional and behavioural needs. Some pupils may need help with personal care. You’ll help create a positive and safe environment where students feel included and supported.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide consistent classroom support and adapt to individual learning needs

Assist with communication, focus, and emotional regulation

Support pupils during lessons, breaks, and transitions

Build strong relationships with students and staff

Offer personal care support if required
Job Requirements:

Experience supporting children or young people in education, care, or similar settings
-
Calm, positive, and resilient approach
-
Willingness to learn and work flexibly across different school environments
-
Enhanced DBS registered on the update service (or willing to apply)

A full and updated CV
