Teacher of MFL with the Ability to Teach Spanish
Location: Folkestone, Kent
Salary: £120 – £250 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: September 2025

About the Role:

As an MFL Teacher (Spanish), The successful candidate will be expected to deliver high-quality Spanish lessons, and potentially other languages, across Key Stages. You will join a dedicated MFL department and contribute to a vibrant and challenging curriculum that supports all learners in achieving their full potential.

Responsibilities of the Teacher of MFL (Spanish):

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in Spanish across relevant Key Stages.
  • Create a positive learning environment that fosters enthusiasm and confidence in language acquisition.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing targeted support and feedback.
  • Collaborate with department staff to enrich the MFL curriculum.
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities such as language clubs or international events.
  • Promote cultural awareness and the value of language learning within the school community.
  • Maintain high standards of classroom management and professional conduct.

Requirements for MFL Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Spanish, Modern Foreign Languages, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience teaching MFL (Spanish) within a school setting.
  • Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for promoting multilingualism.
  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Have an updated CV (covering last ten years barring any unexplained gaps)
  • Enhanced DBS registered to the update service or willingness to apply for one.
