Job Title: SEN Complex Needs Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
Location: Harlow
Pay Scale: £85 – £115 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: September 2025 (or earlier if available)
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Join a nurturing and specialist educational environment in Harlow as a SEN Complex Needs Learning Support Assistant (LSA) — and make a real difference in the lives of extraordinary learners.
What You Will Do:
- Providing 1:1 or small group support to pupils with complex needs, including Autism, PMLD, and medical needs.
- Supporting students with personal care, physical needs, and communication.
- Working alongside SEN teachers and therapists to deliver tailored learning plans.
- Using alternative communication tools such as PECS, Makaton, or assistive technologies.
- Helping to create a calm, safe, and stimulating environment that promotes independence and well-being.
What You Need:
- Experience supporting children or young adults with complex needs or in a care environment.
- A calm, empathetic, and resilient nature.
- Confidence with personal care and mobility assistance (training can be provided).
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
- Teamwork and adaptability to respond to individual needs and challenges.
- An enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
