We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Psychology Teacher to join our secondary schools in Maldon. This is a full-time position, starting in September, with a focus on teaching KS5 students. The Psychology Teacher will play a key role in shaping the academic journey of students, guiding them through A-level psychology topics, fostering critical thinking, and preparing them for exams.
As a Psychology Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and informative lessons, developing students' understanding of psychological theories, research, and practical applications. In addition to teaching, you will also be involved in planning, marking, and assessing student progress, ensuring that all students are supported to achieve their best outcomes.
Key responsibilities for the Psychology Teacher include:
- Teaching KS5 Psychology students, preparing them for exams and assessments.
- Planning and delivering high-quality, differentiated lessons to meet the needs of all learners.
- Marking and providing constructive feedback to help students improve their academic performance.
- Engaging students in discussions, debates, and practical applications of psychological concepts.
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop curriculum content and resources.
The ideal Psychology Teacher will have a passion for the subject and a proven track record of helping students achieve success at A-level. You will bring creativity to your teaching and be committed to supporting students' academic growth.
