Rate: £95 - £100 per day (Depending on experience)

About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant in Chesterfield, you will work closely with teachers and students to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. Your support will be vital in helping students with SEMH needs thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities of Teaching Assistant (TA):
- Provide Classroom Support: Assist teachers with daily classroom activities and ensure students’ needs are met.
- Support Individual Learning Plans: Help implement tailored learning strategies for students with SEMH needs.
- Monitor Student Progress: Track and assess student development, adjusting support as needed.
- Collaborate with Staff and External Agencies: Work with colleagues and external professionals to provide holistic support.
- Create a Positive Learning Environment: Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive atmosphere.
- Engage and Motivate Students: Use creative approaches to inspire and encourage student participation.
- Maintain Records: Keep accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with relevant stakeholders.
Requirements of Teaching Assistant (TA):
- Experience: Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Relationship Building: Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
- Commitment: A genuine passion for supporting students with SEMH needs.
- Qualifications: Relevant qualifications or training in education (desirable but not essential).
- Driver: Must be a driver.
- SEMH Experience: Experience working with students with SEMH is essential.

- Have an enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one.
