Job Title: Primary Teacher
Location: Chesterfield
Rate: £180 to £200 per day (Depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-Time
Start Date: September 2025

GSL Education are recruiting for a Primary Teacher to join a nurturing and inclusive school in Chesterfield, supporting pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a supportive and dynamic educational environment.
About the Role:
As a Primary Teacher in Chesterfield, you will play a vital role in supporting students with SEMH needs, helping them thrive both academically and personally. You will work closely with a collaborative team to deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the unique needs of each learner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver creative and inclusive lessons aligned with the primary curriculum.
- Support students’ emotional and academic development in a nurturing environment.
- Provide tailored one-on-one and small group instruction.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adapting strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with staff, parents, and external professionals to support holistic development.
- Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom culture.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or equivalent.
- Must be a driver due to the location and nature of the role.
- Experience or strong interest in working with SEMH students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to teaching.
- Trainee or early career teachers are welcome to apply.
