GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Winchester. and make a real difference in the lives of students aged 11–19 with a range of learning disabilities and complex needs. The school offer a personalised, inclusive education where every student has an EHCP and access to a range of onsite specialist services such as physiotherapy, sensory integration, and speech and language therapy.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support small groups or 1:1 teaching tailored to individual needs, with regular progress reviews.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils in accessing their personalised curriculum
- Work closely with teachers and therapists to deliver high-quality, specialist provision
- Encourage student independence and promote positive behaviour
- Assist with physical and sensory needs where required
- Be a key member of a dedicated and supportive staff team
- Collaborative relationships with parents and carers, including regular meetings to support each student’s wellbeing and progress
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs (desirable but not essential)
- A caring, patient, and resilient attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people

- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
- Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
